Web 2.0? What's that? Is it a new version of something I already have but now need to upgrade? Where do I get Web 2.0?
Well, not to worry! Web 2.0 is not an upgrade and you don't have to download anything! Matter of fact, if you've been blogging or are a member of on of the many social / business media networking sitges such as LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, NING and others, then you've already experienced and are interacting collaboratively with others on Web 2.0!
Web 2.0 is a term describing the changing trends in the use of the World Wide Web. It has changed the way we use technology and how we interact with people all over the world. Technology and web design now enhances our experiences even more!
The term now encompasses technologies such as websites, blogs, wikis and social media networking sites; and because of this we've become a more connected and socially interactive onllne society!
We've become a more creative, innovative and we communicate in a number of different ways than ever before because of Web 2.0.
As a baby boomer, I remember not having TV or a radio while growing up. No cell phones, no internet, no electronic video games to get addicted to. It's amazing to me that, at my age, I'm still learning, growing and experiencing all of this! As a youngster, I used to watch the Wonderful World of Disney on TV and NOW I participate, interact and connect with people on the Wonderful World Wide Web...2.0!
